The LastVortex Basket is a vertical sorting machine with sorting bins. The LVB operates at a lower speed than the LastVortex Disc and a lower material density of up to 2%. As a result, the LastVortex Basket can better separate light objects from good fibers broken down by the LVD. The LastVortex Basket is the last sorting machine in Hellenbrand coarse-sorting and, when operated correctly, delivers fibre-free reject.
